Set up in December 1987, Stafford Construction Ltd continues to build on its success in the Industry. During 2003, we were regional finalist in the South Wales ‘Built-in Quality’ Awards and this year we win the Sustainability category in the Bridgend CBC Building Awards. We met pre-qualification requirements for Constructionline in 2003. We now have approved work category with £800,000 notation value (Constructionline reference: 54179).

We now have the foundations of the business in place and are ready to move forward, with a well trained and experienced workforce, and a selection of sub-contractors with whom we work closely, we offer a service second to none, and continue to provide a good, all round, cost-effective and efficient service, whilst ensuring a safe working environment for all concerned. We endeavor to cause as little disruption to the clients business as possible, and are aware of the importance of client/contractor communication and co-ordination, particularly where there is an interface between our works and the clients’.

Over the years, turnover has increased but not at the expense of the company belief, offering the best quality but still at a competitive price. Rewards have been ploughed back time and again and have created a flexible, low-geared building firm.

Our most notable projects to date were the Lifeguard Station in Porthcawl, Maesteg Golf club, new art block at BryntegSchool, Croesty junior School in Pencoed and Kenfig Nature reserve. These developments allowed us to show true quality workmanship and permitted Stafford to out-perform larger regional developers in terms of their pricing and completion targets and giving clients great value for their money.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, efficient service culminating in an end product second to none, in an increasingly diverse and specialised construction and building environment.
