Maesteg Celtic 2nds continued their winning run when they played visitors Heol y Cyw at Llangynwyd. The Celtic team were on fine form and ran in 13 tries. Second row Mathew Jones scored the first try which was followed by one from scrum half Neil Sainsbury after an outrageous dummy. Number eight Scott Lyons ended the first half by pouncing on bad line out ball and running 10 yards to touch down.

The second half began in the same fashion. Second rows Robert Golden and Mark Wilkins both scored. Golden then unselfishly crossed the line and passed to Sainsbury for his hat trick of tries.
