Maesteg Celtic 2nds entertained top Championship side Beddau 2nds at Llan Field on a hot and sunny Saturday. The teams were evenly matched to begin with and Celtic took an early lead through great play by their forwards. The game changed when Beddau took a prop off and requested passive scrums. The quick skilful Beddau threequarters took control and ran in a number of tries. Scorers for the Celtic were centre Neil Arthur 2 tries and hooker Morgan Reeves 1 try. Outside half Rhodri Thomas converted all three tries.
