Maesteg Celtic U7s drew their first ever game of rugby!

This was a brand new team. The 5 boys who played looked like they had been together for a while and not the 3 weeks that they have been. Valley Ravens came with a mixed team of under 7and 8s that intended to test these young Celts, and in fairness they pushed them all the way. The game ended as a worthy draw.

The 5 Celtic players were Ioan, Kayden, Caelan, Louie and Harris. Celtic scorers were

Ioan            3 ties

Kayden        1 tie

Harris          1 tie 

So all in all a great start to the season and a very busy weekend for the youngsters 

The senior Celtic side played Nanty the day before and the U7s and U8s were mascots and lead the teams out on to the field.
