Maesteg Celtic U13s travelled to Baglan U13s on the back of a great performance last week. Celtic started a little bit slowly but some great passing from the backs led to the opening try. Baglan were a very useful team and competed well all through the first half but Celtic scored again at the end of the half. The second half was far better from the boys, with front 5 players of Logan Swayne, Tye Williams, Jackson Tralore, James Williams, Dylan James , Curtis Smith, Mathew Adams and new signing Kai Thomas all showing great enthusiasm and aggression. As the second half went on Celtic kept attacking and scored some great tries! The back row linked so well together that big ball carrier Troy Sheran made yards always supported by the busy flankers Mason Watkin, Morgan Davies and Dan Morgan always on his shoulder. Half backs Liam Wyatt, Iwan Evens, Tommy Griffiths and George Richards all showing great skills to release the strong running wide players Corey Thomas, Rob Price, Rhys Cahill, Cai Davies and Ethan Morris, to run riot in the last 10 minutes.
